We enable individuals to help meet local social needs in a positive and practical way.

Harlow Foodbank

MRCT works in partnership with churches, schools, supermarkets, businesses and front-line professional care agencies to provide this valuable community resource.

The Foodbank is designed to help individuals and families in crisis by providing free emergency food until the appropriate agencies are in a position to assist. Our aim is to engage with communities, introducing sustainable projects that enable marginalised people to break through their cycle of poverty.

Bounty Club

The Bounty Club is now a social supermarket. Run by a mix of MRCT staff and member-volunteers we keep prices down for those on low incomes. It offers members a mixture of fresh & longer life foods, essential households items plus a town-centre cafe to meet and make friends. The cafe has a programme of activities for members. School Uniform Shop

We ask the community to hand in any school uniform that has still got life in it meaning another child can get the benefit!

Bump To Five

Providing support to families in Harlow from newborn to five years old. Bump-to-five takes in donated items, including pre-loved clothing, cots, buggies and other essentials and gifts them to families who need support. We check, sort and redistribute to families referred by caring professionals.

Harlow Hive

Harlow Hive is a campaign group of people living in Harlow, taking action to make people’s lives here better. We are devoted to empowering individuals in our community to create meaningful change. Harlow Hive offers support, resources and advocacy for those who wish to improve our community.
